Weston Brain Institute Postdoctoral Scholars 2017

This is a reminder from the Weston Brain Institute that there is one month left until the application deadline for the Postdoctoral Scholars 2017 program.

Please share this message with all current postdoctoral researchers at your institution.

Program Overview: This program supports top-tier Canadian postdoctoral scholars by providing salary support for international training at the University of Oxford and affiliation with Merton College.

Funding: Up to £57,000 (£44,000 + benefits)/year over up to 2 years

Eligibility: Applicants must be current postdoctoral fellows looking for subsequent postdoc positions, who are normally resident Canada and plan to return to Canada to live and work upon completion of their award.

Project must involve the development of a therapeutic and/or a tool to accelerate the development of therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases of aging.

If candidates are applying with a supervisor not focused on translational research for neurodegenerative diseases of aging, they are encouraged to seek a co-supervisor in the field.

Short-list candidate interviews: September 2017 (by invite only)
Award announcement: September 2017
