Temporary Importation of Goods into Canada

When bringing goods into Canada for temporary use or demonstration you should notify the customs personnel for proper customs clearance of these shipments.  Failure to notify the customs personnel of the temporary import may result in having to pay duties and/or taxes on goods that may otherwise be exempt of duty and/or taxes. Exemption of duties/and or taxes will only be assessed at time of import of goods and will be dependent on the use of the goods while they are in Canada.

If you require further information prior to Importing your product or goods, please contact Dalhousie Customs.
