What is it?
Skype for Business is Office 365's web conferencing tool that allows you to collaborate online with your co-workers using audio, video, or chat.
When do I use it?
With Skype you can send instant messages to any Dal employee; share desktops, files, and presentations; and you'll be able to see the list of meeting participants and know when other users are online and available.
You can also set your own status so others know when you're free to connect. In addition, Skype allows you to search for and connect with your contacts using a browser, a computer application, or a mobile phone.
Where do I find it?
Skype is currently being rolled out to Dalhousie departments. Ask your supervisor or department head to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get access for your department.
