Pink Day

Pink Day celebrates Dal’s commitment to a safe, inclusive, and respectful University community that embraces diversity.

2019 marks 10 years of celebrating Pink Day at Dalhousie! Activities are taking place on Thursday, September 26

Pink Day started after a school community chose to come together in solidarity with a male student being bullied by classmates for wearing a pink shirt to school. This event provides the opportunity to remind our University community that all forms of assault, harassment, discrimination and bullying are always unacceptable, whether they be on campus, online, or at home

Dalhousie's day to promote respect and inclusion for faculty, staff and students.  It is our hope the Dalhousie community will be inspired to think critically and act with intent to create a safe, inclusive environment that we can all be proud of.
