Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA) bargaining commenced on May 26, 2025. The parties met four times and discussed both monetary and non-monetary proposals. At this time, the Board has decided to file for conciliation.
During conciliation, a mediator is appointed by the province to assist the parties with negotiation. Conciliation is a routine step in the bargaining process. The Board remains hopeful the parties will reach agreement.
