Where succesful projects begin
As soon as it is identified that multiple players/teams will be involved in the planning and execution of a project, a project brief should be created to establish and communcate roles, scope, and key deliverables.

- Determine who will write the brief. The project brief is typically started by the client or created by the project lead in consultation with the client. The brief should indicate the project lead.
- The project lead willl need to reconcile the brief as new information comes to light and as different perspectives are brought to bear on the project. The client (or approver) should sign-off on the project brief before any work begins.
- Unless you must, avoid including solutions in the brief.
