Working with web authors across campus
Web and technical support
If you have a technical issue with your website, submit the issue to our ticketing system by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include the site or specific page URL, details of the issue and level of urgency. Your issue will be assigned for prompt resolution.
Also, if you have a question that isn't answered in the online training materials or a general question about creating or editing content in AEM, send an email to email@example.com.
AEM Online Training Course
Our AEM Online Training course is designed to give you the basic tools you need to create and manage your website. All website administrators must be trained before access to AEM can be granted. You'll also learn how to engage your online audience by creating effective and engaging content for your website.
The AEM Basic Training and Basics of Web Writing sessions have been rolled into a single online course for web authors at Dalhousie. If you would like to take the course, please register on the Web Team myDal site: register for the AEM Online Training Course (login required)
AEM Office Hours
The AEM Office Hours project is for current AEM authors who are having difficulty with certain elements of AEM or who want some input and assistance with their website. You can work on your website with an AEM Expert available to provide on-site support. Computers are provided in the classroom, although you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Sessions will be offered weekly as long as interest and attendance permit: register for AEM Office Hours (login required)
