Supporting Dal.ca site owners and web authors
As Dalhousie’s primary online communications platform, Dal.ca is made up of a broad collection of websites representing university departments, units, and strategic priorities. Dal.ca serves students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members locally and internationally, providing timely, relevant, and engaging information and digital content.
Members of CMC's Digital Platform Marketing Team work closely with the Information Technology Services’ Web Team to manage the university’s online presence on a day-to-day basis. We jointly support owners and authors of Dal-hosted websites built on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system.
Our services include:
- Consulting on web content strategies and best practices
- AEM content authoring support
- AEM technical issues
- Google Analytics report requests
- Assessing and facilitating inquiries related to:
- AEM training for existing sites
- AEM site development
- Alias creation

Working together towards a new dal.ca
Our website is embarking on a multi-year project to upgrade the current content management system in conjunction with a site redesign and rebuild. As a result, some changes to our normal web project service standards are now in effect. Stay informed on the latest project updates (Dal NetID and password login required) and connect with the project team to help us shape the future of dal.ca.
