Neurobiology of Learning and Memory
Richard E. Brown and Malik Abouleish
Department of Psychology and Neuroscience
Learning and memory occur through multiple memory systems. In this presentation I will look at different memory systems and their neural bases and then relate this to learning and memory practices that can be used in university. My student Malik Abouleish, will discuss how he has used these methods in his studies. In reality, the methods are all explained in most introductory psychology textbooks, and neuroscientists are just searching for the neural bases of these psychological phenomena.
