Facilitating In-Class Discussion in English
Acting Head Teacher, ESL Programs
College of Continuing Education
Many teachers strive to make their classes interactive. If English is not your first language, it can add to the challenge of leading your students in in-class discussion and debate. This workshop will focus on linguistic resources and strategies for facilitating seminars, problem-based learning tasks, tutoring sessions or discussions in a lab setting. The workshop will include explanations, discussion and practical exercises to develop your skills.
