Teaching Students With Learning Disabilities in Your Class

This workshop will focus on identifying the challenges that students with learning disabilities may face in a university course. Participants will learn how to work with students to help them succeed to the fullest in class. Topics covered include:

  • signs of learning disability;
  • communication with student services;
  • accommodations and changes to a course;
  • ways to make your class more accessible; and
  • social and academic needs of students.
