Addressing Student Disruptions in the Classroom
Are you frustrated by some of the behaviours of students in the classroom or when you are interacting with them in your office? Are there times when you are concerned about the possible escalation of inappropriate behavior? Do you know how to manage these situations and what resources are available for you on campus? This workshop provides examples of difficult, distressed and dangerous student situations and explores options for resolution. We will also outline resources on campus and provide guidance on when and whom to call in these situations.
