A mobile classroom for the 21st century learner: The use of technology in and outside the classroom
Digital technologies allow for individual learning to take place outside the classroom through mediums such as videos, blogs, and discussion forums. Increasing the incorporation of technology into teaching and learning has redirected in-class time and goals, and has allowed instructors to generate and build communication, community and feedback through synchronous and asynchronous learning activities outside the classroom. This session will discuss how technology impacts the transition between, as well as time spent, inside and outside the classroom from both a student and instructor perspective.
