We continue to see higher numbers of COVID cases in Nova Scotia requiring new Public Health restrictions and significant shifts in the provincial testing mandate. We will need more time for our academic community as a whole to assess, understand and prepare for how best to deliver a safe and successful winter term.

With a few limited exceptions, today (Monday, Dec. 13) is the last day for In-person exams. All remaining December exams (originally scheduled for Tuesday and all subsequent dates) will be online, postponed or cancelled. More important updates are included.

Earlier today, Dalhousie learned of six members of our residence community in Halifax who received positive COVID-19 test results through rapid testing. All residence students in Halifax and Truro are being asked to complete rapid tests Saturday and Sunday and should not attend in-person exams if they receive a positive result. More information within.
