Update on COVID and Dal's safety plan, including extending mask guidance until Dec 31 and reminder of procedures for COVID cases.

Public Health is investigating a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the community. Based on their findings, there may have been a low-risk community exposure at the Killam Library on September 20, 21 and 22 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.

If you attended the large, unsanctioned street parties in the Halifax neighbourhood of Jennings and Larch Streets in the afternoon/evening of Saturday, September 25, we are strongly urging you not to attend classes or general activities for one week.

If you were present at the Wallace McCain Learning Commons on Monday, September 20th between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., there are specific instructions you must follow based on your vaccination status.

We are writing to update our community with the latest on our Campus Check vaccination and testing requirements. We want to stress that all students, faculty and staff must complete the Campus Check process.

We’ve done such an admirable job over the past 18 months to keep each other safe, and now we need to continue doing our part to ensure this next year is a great one for everyone in our communities on and off campus.
