On March 21, Nova Scotia moved into a new phase of living with COVID-19, with many restrictions being lifted, including mask requirements. At Dalhousie, many restrictions have been lifted but some university COVID measures will remain in place until April 30 as we help our diverse and complex community transition into a lower-restriction model of work and study.

On Dec. 17, a memo was sent to the Dalhousie community about a delay in the beginning of in-person classes in January. Today, an update was sent that online learning will be extended to at least Jan. 28.

As of Nov. 23, 2021, Dalhousie will begin transitioning to a requirement for proof of full vaccination to participate in on-campus activities and to live in residence.
