Summer programs

If you're not sure about taking a full or half-year international experience, you may want to consider a Summer program to get a taste of what to expect. 

There are both summer exchange and study abroad opportunities available with some of our partner universities:

Summer exchange programs at partner universities

Aarhus University Summer Exchange Program

Description:

The programme at AU (Aarhus University) Summer University consist of a broad variety of courses, taught in English at Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD level, within the fields of: Arts, Business and Economics, Business Communication, Political Science and Law, Health, Science and Technology.

AU Summer University welcomes Danish and international full-time students, exchange students and free movers. Along with the academic programme, we offer accommodation service, visa service, and a social programme for both lecturers and students.

Summer calendar:

Term 1: July 1–31, 2015
Term 2: July 15–August 14, 2015

*Exam dates and form differs from course to course. Some courses may have other teaching dates

Hong Kong Baptist University Summer Exchange Program

Description
  • HKBU offers a speical opportunity for summer exchange. This program is shorter than regular acadmic term (Fall/Winter). There will be a smaller selection of courses.
  • Over 30 courses will be offered in the areas of Business, Communication, Economics, English, Film, Finance, History, Journalism, Marketing, Religion, Science and Sociology.
  • English will be the medium of instruction.
Summer calendar June 30–August 3, 2016. Students can be on exchange for one month or two.

KNU Global Summer School

Description:

The KNU 4-week Global Summer School brings together students and academics from all over the world for a unique intercultural learning experience and special taste of Korean culture. All courses are taught in English, and your students will take courses with Korean students as well as other participants from all over the world.

Summer study abroad at partner universities

Leeds International Summer School

Description

University of Leeds is pleased to announce that the application period is now open for Leeds International Summer School (LISS) 2016.

Leeds International Summer School (LISS) offers you the opportunity to study at the University of Leeds and immerse yourself in British culture as part of an exciting four-week programme. Taking advantage of the vibrant, student friendly city of Leeds, and the rich history, culture and natural beauty of the area, the summer school combines world-class tuition with local knowledge, academic-related field trips, and a wide variety of social activities.

LISS offers students a fantastic opportunity to experience British university life and culture, as well as earning academic credit (20 University of Leeds credits = 6 US credits/10 ECTS), which students can transfer back to their home university degree (subject to approval).

Glasgow International Summer School

Description

The University of Glasgow is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland's four ancient universities. Located in Glasgow, the university was founded in 1451.

A major centre of the Scottish Enlightenment during the 18th century, from the 19th century it became a pioneer in British higher education. Since 1870, the main University campus has been principally located on Gilmorehill in the West End of the city. Glasgow has departments of Law, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, and Dentistry.

Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and third most populous in the United Kingdom. The city is situated on the River Clyde in the country's west central lowlands. A person from Glasgow is known as a Glaswegian.

Swansea University Summer School in Ancient Languages (UK)

Description

The courses will be taught on the campus of Swansea University which won the WhichUni gold award for Best University in 2014: we have the Egypt Centre on site, Swansea beach is but a minute’s walk away, a short bus trip will get participants to the city centre with museums (Swansea Museum, Waterfront Museum, Dylan Thomas Centre etc.) and the Marina, and the beautiful Gower peninsula can be reached by bus from the city centre for those interested in exploring its history and nature. With the many historical sites (not just Roman), the National Botanic Gardens, National Trust and Cadw properties all at less than 40 minutes away, we're ideally located for a language-intensive course with plenty of scope for exploring South Wales.
