International Students' Peer Café

When: Saturday, March 11, 2–4pm 

International Student Peer Café will be a space and opportunity for international students to engage in dialogue with a Student Health & Wellness Psychologist , Marriam Abou-El-Haj, and other international students about the process of acculturation, transition, and their values and beliefs around mental health and related issues like anxiety, depression, stress. The purpose is for international students to find a safe space to connect and learn about mental health from other students’ experiences on strategies of coping with anxiety and stress.

Students who have registered and attend in person (capacity of 25) will be provided a free meal to take home and Oscar the Therapy Dog will also be in attendance!
