When: Starting September 27th - Wednesdays from 4 - 5:30pm
This is a drop-in group so once you have registered for the group, you may drop-in weekly or as you are able! Topics will repeat over time.
Where: LeMarchant Place, 2nd Floor, Room 2304 (Group room 1)
Group Facilitator: Joanne Mills, Psychologist
This group will focus on skill development of strategies to help manage difficult emotions.
Each week will discuss one of the four main coping skills found to enhance psychological well-being:
- mindfulness
- interpersonal effectiveness skills
- emotion regulation skills
- distress tolerance skills
The topics will cycle throughout the year and students may attend as many sessions as they'd like.
