The Dal Ally Peer Advisor allows the Dalhousie community to access support and/or referrals, provides email support to those who inquire with questions, gives individuals support on Rainbow issues, and develops and presents public presentations. The Peer Advisor has a broad knowledge and appreciation of diversity and human rights issues and, in particular, an awareness of Rainbow issues. The Advisor’s work is done with sensitivity and a high level of confidentiality. The Advisor works under the direction of the Allies Steering Committee and its designed chair/chairs.

Current Peer Ally - Lauren Delaney
Lauren Delaney is a Sociology major, focusing on Canadian law and human rights. Lauren is committed to ensuring that inclusivity is understood and practiced by every department at Dalhousie University. Lauren has worked with Sexual Health Nova Scotia to develop inclusive educational programs, facilitate youth workshops, and deliver information sessions to at risk populations. Lauren supports Dalhousie University as a non-judgmental space for students, instructors, University staff and all others.
