Dalhousie Student Health Services has family doctors, registered nurses, psychiatrists and a social worker on staff who offer a number of services. The list below includes services you can walk-in for and services you need to make an appointment for. 

Walk-in and see a nurse

  • Emergency first aid & minor procedures
  • Assessment of broken bones & sprains
  • Assessment for stitches
  • Dressing changes
  • Health form completion
  • TB/Mantoux skin tests (Tuesdays only)
  • STI testing (no symptoms)
  • Emegency contraception
  • Pregnancy testing

Make an appointment with our social worker

  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Support for issues including food, housing, and relationships

  • Medical exams and consultations
  • Sexual health education
  • HIV testing/education
  • PAP Smear
  • Birth control education
  • STI testing (showing symptoms)

  • Diving physicals (Dr. Botten)
