Priority application processing for Open House attendees
Students who attend the virtual Open House on November 7, 2020 and apply for direct-entry undergraduate admission by Monday November 9, 2020 will receive priority processing from our admissions team.
Applications received from Canadian and US high school students, as well as transfer applicants and international students who have completed high school, who attend Dalhousie’s virtual Open House will be given priority in the review process.
How to apply during the early admission period:
- Complete your online application for admission* (opens October 15, 2020).
- Send official transcripts** (high school graduates and transfer applicants only).
- Pay your application fee.
If you have questions about completing your application before or after the event, connect with an advisor. On event day, chat live with an advisor at the Undergraduate Admissions booth at the Virtual Fair.
* Open House priority processing is being offered for direct-entry undergraduate programs only and is not available for Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing applicants.
**Current high school students in Canada and the US who received numerical final grades for the 2019-2020 school year can self-report their grades without transcripts during the early admission period. High school applicants who received non-numerical final grades (e.g. Pass/Fail, Credit/Enrolled) can apply when their first set of grades are available for the current year. International high school students are not able to be assessed for admissions until January 2021.
