Strong reputation

“After looking at the websites of several universities that offer Neuroscience, I found that Dalhousie holds a reputation of being a pioneering institution that offers an undergraduate program in this discipline.”

A friendly welcome

“I did not have any trouble making friends as the people here are very warm and friendly. I knew I could easilty ask for help from teaching staff, administrative staff and friends.”

Stimulating education

“My program is very interesting, although it is demanding. Nevertheless, I love every bit of it. My professors should be praised for their expertise and their ability to stimulate students' thinking skills. My classes can be quite lively and as I get into the upper years of my degree, I find most students become more serious. This helps me prepare myself for the professional world after I graduate."

Vibrant student life

”I have amazing, eye-opening experiences when volunteering with different societies on campus, participating in student movements and doing 'Canadian' outdoor activities.

Beautiful Halifax

“I fell in love with the Halifax waterfront instantly. Plus, Haligonians are known as the friendliest people and it's safe to walk even if you happen to be alone.”
