Faculty mentors

"I have professors who I sit down and talk with about a lot of things apart from just economics. We talk about politics, what I'm going to do with my master's and basically catch up over coffee. And of course they're very good teachers."

Studying at the right pace

"The education system here is very different from the one back home. Here, you do reading and assignments every week. You're studying throughout and it's very consistent and systematic."

Feeling welcome

“When I first arrived I was slightly nervous because I'd never studied or lived alone outside of India. But the people here are really nice. When you walk down the street they smile at you and you end up feeling really comfortable."

Beautiful Halifax

“I've been to Peggy's Cove and places like that. In terms of Halifax, Point Pleasant Park is my favourite – I'm there running all the time.”
