International reputation

“Dalhousie has a good reputation. I went to an international high school and a lot of my Canadian teachers went to Dal and had very good things to say. I really recommend you choose Dal.”

Caring professors

“The professors really care about you. They make good connections with their students, and this makes me feel good. And the classes are pretty awesome.”

Friendly people

“The landscape, the people, the ocean—I love every aspect of Nova Scotia. The people here in Halifax are especially friendly. The bus drivers even say hello!”

Getting involved

“I love the student life. I’ve been involved in the Dalhousie Student Union, Dalhousie International Students’ Association and Dalhousie Chinese and Scholars Association. They are very helpful groups—and it’s a great way to get involved and make friends from other cultures.”
