Servicing a greater area of 44,000 people, Truro links the province to the rest of the region. Truro offers the best of both worlds: small-town ambience combined with a full range of commercial and recreational opportunities.
Dalhousie's Agricultural Campus is located just outside of Truro and students frequently head into downtown to enjoy Victoria Park, music festivals, the Farmers' Market, local shops, restaurants, cafes and much more.
Commonly called the "hub" of Nova Scotia, Truro's weather is regulated by the waters that surround the province and by the hills that shelter the town.
If you’ll be flying into Halifax for your tour, be sure to allow enough time to get to campus. The Halifax Stanfield International Airport is approximately 45 minutes from campus and offers several rental car companies.
If driving from Dalhousie's Halifax campus, the Agricultural campus is approximately a 75-minute commute.
