Campus Tours

Tour Description

A campus tour can help you see what life as a student is like and decide which university is right for you.

During the hour and 15-minute walking tour, a current student will share more about the student experience while you visit:

  • All four academic departments
  • Langille Athletic Centre
  • Library and Student Learning Commons
  • Dining hall
  • Ruminant Animal Centre (farm)
  • Residence
  • Gardens or greenhouses

You'll finish the tour with an advisor who will discuss programs, admission, scholarships and next steps.

Tours are offered Monday to Friday at 10:00am and 1:30pm and Saturdays at 1:00pm. We ask that you contact us at least one week prior to your visit.

Saturday tours consist of visiting the athletic centre, dining hall, and residence due to limited access to buildings on campus. Advisors are not available to meet on Saturdays.

Group Visits

A campus visit is a great way for school groups, sports teams, and youth community organizations to learn more about university or supplement programming.  We offer specialized tours, including hands-on, educational components, that will help meet the objectives and interests of the group.  Interested in booking a group visit? Please contact our Community Education Manager, Colette Wyllie, at Colette.wyllie@dal.ca or 902-893-6238.

Special On-Campus Events

Throughout the year, there are special on-campus events for prospective students like our annual Open House or Faculty of Agriculture Preview Days. Take a look at our Events Calendar and consider planning your trip around an event to get more program specific information or experience campus from another perspective.
