Future studies

After completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religious Studies, you’ll be ready to pursue a Master of Arts (MA). You might choose to continue with religious studies or another area of specialty, depending on your particular bachelor’s program. If you do a combined honours degree in Religious Studies and Classics, for example, you might continue in either of those subject areas.

If you chose to do Religious Studies as a second subject as part of your Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree, you’ll be able to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in your chosen science discipline.

And after completing either a Master of Arts or Science, you might further your studies with a PhD.

Whatever master’s program you pursue, Religious Studies at Dalhousie will prepare you for the high level of critical analysis and communication skills you’ll need to achieve your goals.
