Certificate in Animal Behaviour

Program description

The new Certificate in Animal Behaviour provides students with enhanced, in-depth training in animal behaviour during their BA or BSc Honours and Major program. You’ll take a series of courses, including a minimum of one semester of independent research.

Your completion of the certificate will be noted at convocation and appear on your transcript. The certificate is a collaborative effort between the Biology and Psychology & Neuroscience departments. 

How to apply

Students should enroll in the certificate program during their third or fourth year of studies. The certificate coordinator, Shelley Adamo (sadamo@dal.ca), will enroll you in the program when you seek approval of your research topic.

Before graduating, you must email the certificate coordinator, Shelley Adamo (sadamo@dal.ca) to receive your certificate.
