Alumni story

A lifelong love of politics

Andrea Moe became instantly hooked on politics while watching such events as the end of the Cold War and the death of the Meech Lake Accord unfold on TV. It's no wonder, then, that after graduating with her B.A. she went on to do a master's in political science and then her PhD. Andrea now works as a research officer for the Nova Scotia Department of Intergovernmental Affairs.

"Prof. Fierlbeck and her Political Thought class inspired me and nurtured an excitement that I carried through my undergraduate and two graduate degrees.”
