Future studies

Upon completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European Studies, you'll have the breadth of knowledge and critical thinking skills you'll need to pursue further studies in a number of areas.

You could go on to study law, with a focus on European or international law. And of course you could choose to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) in European Studies. Because of the multi- or interdisciplinary nature of Dal's European Studies program, you could apply to a number of different master's programs, depending on your interests and particular areas of focus during your BA.

These are just some of the basic options for further study:

  • Juris Doctor (JD), or a Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Master of Arts (MA)
  • PhD
