Future studies

Further your education

A Bachelor of Community Design opens a wide range of possibilities for future studies. Some students continue on in the School and do a Master of Planning, while others choose to apply to Dal’s Environmental Design Studies/Architecture program after their second year. Many graduates take the knowledge and skills they’ve acquired in the Community Design program and enter such programs as Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, or combine them with another professional degree like an MBA or MPA.

Sowing the seeds of knowledge

A summer internship with the Nature Conservancy of Canada convinced Ellen Whitman (BCD'11) that she really wanted to keep learning. Now she's working on a Master of Environmental Studies at the Dalhousie School for Resource and Environmental Studies. Read Ellen's story.
