Killam Predoctoral Scholarships

After acceptance by the department, prospective graduate students of exceptional ability may become candidates for special scholarships such as the Izaak Walton Killam Memorial Scholarships. Killam scholarship holders must be eligible to receive scholarship support for at least two years. This means that at the masters level only newly entering students will be considered. Renewal is upon evidence of satisfactory performance at a required minimum level. Master's students may hold a Killam Scholarship for 24 months and PhD students for up to 36 months. The scholarships are valued at $20,000 (2006-2007) for a master's program and $25,000 (2006-2007) for a doctoral program. Find out more about Killam Predoctoral Scholarships.
