Academic background

  • Master of Electronic Commerce (Dalhousie University)
  • Master of Business Administration (Dalhousie University)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Dalhousie University)

Current position

"The interdisciplinary approach of the program fostered holistic discussion."

“Everyone should have the experience of working for one small company, and one big company. The MEC helped me start my own small company during the Dot-Com era.”

Grant was among the first MEC graduates. Initially attracted to the MEC’s unique, real-time approach to business, technology and policy, Grant quickly realized that the MEC approach was the best way to see the big picture. Only by understanding the different perspectives and challenges raised by electronic commerce was he able to found his company.

Today, he has moved on from startups to work at large companies. Grant is the Vice President of Global Delivery Atlantic at CGI Inc. and is directly responsible for approximately 400 employees at CGI’s Atlantic office.
