A steering committee drove the highest levels of planning and support for all aspects of the 200th anniversary.
A university-wide planning committee included representation from academic and administrative units. These anniversary champions provided strategic input, made recommendations, considered proposed activities and ensured plans kept moving ahead.
The faculty champions committee, a group with representatives from every faculty, was responsible for developing, managing and executing anniversary plans at the faculty level. Deans, senior academics and communicators are all involved.
Two sub-committees addressed other specific areas, helping to raise awareness and bring the anniversary alive. If you have questions relating to these areas, contact the sub-committee chairs.
