Sophie Carr, BScKin, received a special delivery last week - her University Medal. The recent Health Professions graduate was unable to attend convocation due to a date with the MCATs. Enter Kinesiology Professor David Westwood who knew Sophie as a student and didn't want her to miss the opportunity of being presented with the prestigious award.
With plans to be in BC for a conference, David made a special trip to Vancouver Island to personally present Sophie with the Medal. Congratulations Sophie and thank you David for going above and beyond to mark this special achievement!
