Celebrating French culture and highlighting opportunities and collaborations between Dalhousie, France and French partners.

Les enjeux de l'immigration et de l'identité en France: perspectives cinématographiques. 

Dal’s Prof. Christopher Elson and his Language & Culture” students present some current trends in

French cinema with respect to the debates on immigration, identity, laïcité (secularity) and republican values. 

With brief introduction to the films of Jacques Audiard including “Dheepan” (screening at 7 p.m.).
