    Do you have questions about parking, transportation to and on Dal campus, an employee bus pass (pilot program), cycling initiatives, and opportunities for car-sharing and ride-sharing?
     
    Please join us today, from 3-4 pm in the MacMechan Room of the Killam Library, for our first Transportation and Parking Town Hall meeting.  
     
    If you can’t make it today, other meetings are scheduled for:

    Financial Services will be offering information sessions on how to use Finance Self Service (FSS) and ePrint.  The information sessions will help those requiring access to financial reports to maneuver through the electronic format.
     
    If you would like to attend one of these sessions, please go to https://register-eod.dal.ca/, change the Theme to “Financial Management” and click Apply.  Click on Register for whichever FSS & ePrint session you would like to attend.  If the ones listed are not convenient for you, keep your eye on this website for future dates.

    Requirements:

    An MBA or equivalent is required. Attributes required: excellent
    communication skills. The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of the subject
    matter, and an established record of teaching experience. The successful candidate
    must also be able to meet the School's accrediting body (AACSB) academic qualification
    requirements or professional qualification requirements.

    Duties included, but are not limited to:

    The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and
    administering the class, including lectures, test preparation and
    evaluation. The Part-Time Academic should be available for two hours per
    week for consultation with students. The Part-Time Academic reports to the
    Director of the Department.

    POSITION: Sessional Lecturer

    WORK ASSIGNMENT:

    The Sessional Lecturer will teach 50% of the one-half credit course, HUCD 5050 - Fundamentals of Speech Science in the Master of Science programs in speech-language pathology and audiology at the School of Human Communication Disorders during the fall term September to December 2012.  Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required.  The Sessional Lecturer will coordinate with the Professor of Record for this course and reports to the Acting Director of the School.

    REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

    A graduate degree, expertise in the area of speech anatomy and physiology, and relevant teaching experience.
