Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry has closed its public dental clinics until Jan. 12, 2015.

The last several days have been very difficult for many, particularly for our female students in the fourth-year Dentistry class who were the subject of deeply offensive comments made in a Facebook group by fellow students.

On behalf of Dalhousie University, I want to express my deep disappointment and concern with reports of offensive comments shared in a social media group about female students in Dalhousie’s Faculty of Dentistry.
