Blue Nose, Tiger hearts, can't lose

Dal volunteers help with the Blue Nose Marathon

- May 19, 2015

Runners and walkers taking part in the full- and half-marathons at the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon this weekend had a little bit of Tiger spirit to help them get through the race.

For the fourth straight year, Dalhousie volunteers hosted one of the race's water stations. Alumni, staff and students handed out fresh water and Gatorade to the participants and offering cheers of encouragement along the way. Co-organizer Courtney Larkin, executive vice-president of the Dalhousie Alumni Association, said this year's group of volunteers was the largest yet, thanks in particular to the enthusiasm of the Dalhousie International Students Association.

Cheers to the volunteers, and to all members of the Dal community who took part in the marathon.
