A sold-out crowd spent the evening bidding generously on silent and live auction items, helping the Tigers generate valuable funds for our teams. Following a delicious three-course dinner, our guests reveled in the celebration of our inductees and Sandy Young Award winner.

Former Dalhousie student, and CBC broadcaster, Bruce Rainnie served as Master of Ceremonies for the event. This year's class of inductees featured football player Robert Lewington who played four season with the Tigers from 1966-70. Dr. Carolyn Savoy, who spent more than 30 years here at Dalhousie as a faculty member and the coach of the women's basketball team was inducted posthumously while 11 members of the 1995 men's soccer team who won a national gold medal were on hand to be inducted as a team.

Dalhousie grad, Stewart McInnes was also recognized for his contribution to sport in Nova Scotia with the Sandy Young Award.
