As a special addition to this year's Homecoming festivities, hundreds of members of the Dal community gathered on the Studley Quad on Saturday morning, October 18. They came with signs, colourful T-shirts, musical instruments and more than enough spirit to share.
The occasion was the first Dalhousie Tiger Family Fun Run/Walk, which took participants for a journey across all three Halifax campuses. The event also encouraged participants to donate footwear to Halifax's Walk In Our Shoes Foot Care Program, a charity started by Dalhousie Alumni Award Winner Dr. Colin Van Zoost.
