G2 Athletes of the Week (Ending Oct. 5)

(Halifax, NS) Dalhousie University presents our G2 Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 5, 2014.

Michelle Yates, Soccer

Fifth-year midfielder Michelle Yates is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.

Yates led the Tigers to two victories this weekend to move them into fourth place in the AUS standings. During Saturday’s game in Moncton, she scored three goals in the Tigers 7-0 victory over les aigles bleues, upping her season total to six. She is currently in a three-way tie for second in AUS goal-scoring.

A science student, Michelle is from Fall River, NS.

Bezick Evraire, Soccer

Fourth-year midfielder Bezick Evraire is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.

Bezick scored twice in the Tigers 3-1 win over les aigles bleus in Moncton over the weekend. He is currently tied for second in the AUS for goals scored with seven so far this season.

A native of Ottawa, ON, Bezick is an arts student.
