Women’s Soccer

The Tigers came out on top last Wednesday in the second round of the battle of Halifax against the Saint Mary’s Huskies. Rookie Jensen Hudder netted her first two goals of her career, and fifth-year Michelle Yates added a beautiful strike from outside the 18 yard box to give the Tigers a 3-0 win.

It was a tough weekend as they dropped another game against the Cape Breton Capers at home on Saturday. Victoria Parkinson nearly tied it late in the second half, but her shot rang off the crossbar as the Tigers lost 1-0.
