G2 Athletes of the Week (Ending Sept. 21)

(Halifax, NS) Dalhousie University presents our G2 Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 21, 2014.

Victoria Parkinson, Soccer

Third-year striker Victoria Parkinson is this week’s G2 Female Athlete of the Week.

Parkinson led the Tigers to their second victory of the regular season this past Sunday. She scored the game-winning goal as assisted the first in the Tigers 2-1 win over StFX. It’s her second game-winning goal of the season.

A nursing student, Victoria is from Halifax, NS.

Bezick Evraire, Soccer

Fourth-year midfielder Bezick Evraire is this week’s G2 Male Athlete of the Week.

Evraire scored twice in the Tigers 2-2 draw with the Cape Breton Capers on Saturday. In Sunday’s match with StFX, he got off five shots, but was unable to capitalize and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

Currently second in scoring in the AUS, Evraire leads all Tigers scorers with four goals so far this season.

A native of Ottawa, ON, Bezick is an arts student.
