Dal comes alive at DalFest 2012

Each year, the DSU hosts DalFest – a celebration for the Dal community that features live music, student societies, sports and more. This year, the Dal quad hosted two nights of concerts along with plenty of other activities, including an opening ceremony put together by Dalhousie's Working Group on Interculture Awareness, featuring a welcome to traditional Mi'kmaq territory and a performance by drumming group Eastern Eagle. And Dal's newest community was also part of the festivities, with a busload of students from Dal's Agricultural Campus making the trip down.
