It's time to play the Feud for United Way
Family Feud on November 25, open to all in the Dal community

Survey says: Dalhousie Family Feud is sure to make for an interesting lunch hour.
As the closing luncheon to Dalhousie’s 2011 United Way Campaign, Dal faculty, staff and students are invited to play the Feud on Friday, Nov. 25 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the McInnis Room of the Dal Student Union Building.
Teams of five who register in advance will get the chance to play through two rounds. The qualifying round will be a series of multiple choice questions on the history of Dalhousie and Halifax United Way. Each team will then have 20 minutes to answer 20 multiple-choice questions.
The two teams who answer the most of those questions correctly—and in the fastest time—will be chosen to face off in a classic Family Feud showdown on the McInnis Room stage, trying to determine the top answers on the board. The event will be hosted by Bob Mann, taking on the role as Dalhousie’s Richard Dawson/Ray Coombs/Steve Harvey, and questions will be taken from Family Feud’s official online database.
The cost to attend is $10 per person, whether you’re playing the game or cheering on your colleagues as a member of the audience. The lunch includes sandwiches and refreshments. Competing teams or individual guests can register online now.
Dalhousie is one of the United Way's largest community partners in Halifax. This year the Dal campaign aims to raise $200,000 to help the people of Halifax and give back to the community.
While the early bird draw deadline has passed, you can still give to the campaign with several payment options through the secure donation website. (Alternatively, you can donate via paper forms available from your area coordinator.) And watch for other forthcoming events this month for more chances to donate, including the start of the 50/50 contest and a chili lunch.
