David Precious named to advisory board

David Precious

Dr. David Precious has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the prestigious maxillofacial surgery journal, Mund-Kiefer-Gesichts-Chirurgie. After a long history in the German language, the journal will go online, in English, effective January 2008 as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Every aspect of oral and maxillofacial surgery is covered. Special topics are aesthetic facial surgery, computer assisted surgery, congenital and craniofacial deformities, head and neck oncology and reconstructive surgery of the face and jaws. The journal is peer-reviewed, listed in Medline, and is designed for clinicians as well as researchers. The editor-in-chief is Professor Dr. Dr. Friedrich W. Neukam, Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen, Germany.

Dr. Precious is the Dean of Dentistry and professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dalhousie University.
