Tragedy at Virginia Tech
Dal News Staff - April 16, 2007
The Dalhousie community is shocked by the senseless violence at Virginia Tech. Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims, and their families, friends and colleagues in this dark hour.
We are united in our sorrow and outrage. We are united in our determination that universities and colleges must always stand for reason and humanity in defiance of such inhuman brutality. We will not give in to despair. We reaffirm our values.
The flags at Dalhousie are lowered to half-mast in memory of the victims. Please note that our Counselling Services are available to anyone personally affected by this (located at 6136 University Avenue, telephone 494-2081).
