Dr. Colin van Zoost (MD’09) is the 2014 recipient of the Volunteerism Award in recognition of his involvement in the volunteer-run Walk in Our Shoes Foot Care clinic and HaliVax, which helps deliver the flu vaccination to the homeless. He says he hopes to inspire future Dalhousie medical and nursing students to take on volunteer initiatives in their community.
