33rd Annual Atlantic Undergraduate English Conference
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
ACADEMIC AND CREATIVE WORKS
Dalhousie University is hosting the 33rd Annual Atlantic Undergraduate English Conference: March 14 to 16, 2014.
The AAUEC is an annual conference that aims to provide a lively environment for students to present their work to peers from neighboring universities. Presentations can take the form of either critical analyses or creative writing. Creative works may include poetry, short stories, or creative nonfiction. There will be a short period for questions after each presentation. A maximum of six presenters will represent each university; Dalhousie submissions will be refereed by the Dalhousie English Department’s selection committee.
· Works should be revised for a 12-minute oral delivery (approximately 1800 words), with a grace period extending to 15 minutes
· Submissions should include an abstract of no more than 250 words
· The deadline for students to submit to the English department is Friday January 17, 2014
